Mommy Talk
These are things I find myself randomly asking or saying that I thought I never expected I would say:
To Lexi: Why is Pocohantas in the refrigerator?
To Lexi while we stand at the refrigerator: Get Belle out before I close the door.
To Lexi standing at the front door: Quit licking the door!
To both kids, normally on the site of some sort of mess: What is this??
To Lexi: Lexi, you don’t stick your fingers in people’s hineys!
To Emma: I love surprises in the potty!
To Lexi: You don’t eat birthday cards, that’s not nice!
And these are things I say or have said in great repetition..
To Emma (constantly): Did you poop in your pants?
To both girls: Who had it first?
To Emma: Emma, please eat!
To Both: What do you want to drink/eat/fill-in-the-blank?
To Both: 1…2…if you don’t fill-in-the-blank…you’re going to get a spanking.
To Emma: Don’t ask me again, I heard you the first time.
To Both: Look what you did! Why did you do that? Don’t do that again!
To Both: Quit throwing water out of the tub!
